This structure offers superior strength and resilience in comparison to the traditional steel frame structures that are currently offered in the carport industry. I-beams are ideal for bridge construction because they can support large amounts of weight over long distances. The I-beams in the IMAXBeam design are horizontally placed as roof rafters to support the roof structure and vertical I-Beams are used for the side columns. We also use 29 Gauge sheet panels to enclose the sides and roof of the structure which are fastened to 14guauge vertical columns that are placed on the ends and sides for additional support and increased strength of the structure. On the IMAXBeam design the vertical web of the I-beam helps to distribute the weight evenly, while the horizontal flanges provide support. We use 14 gauge galvanized steel tubing for the flanges and 10" sheet metal for the web making for an overall more sturdy and hefty structure and can withstand even the most extreme weather conditions without any noticeable signs of wear or tear. This also assures you that your structure will not require frequent upkeep and guarantees a safe space for its occupants at all times.
